Our Story
The story of Coyhaique River Lodge begins in the early 2000s, when brothers Gastón and Claudio Urrejola, together with their families, decided to settle in the Aysén Region, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia.
Our Founders
Gastón and Claudio Urrejola are two brothers passionate about fly fishing who, together with their families, decided to create this place that today welcomes hundreds of people to enjoy the beauty of Patagonia. It all starts from a simple conviction: Patagonia is best experienced up close, unhurried, and alongside those who have known its rivers, forests, and seasons for generations. More than two decades later, that same conviction still guides us every season, so that those who visit us find in our lodges far more than just a vacation.
